Number Analogies questions require you to work out how the first number has become the second by examining two example pairs, and then apply this reasoning to a test number.

Number Relationships questions require you to work out how the middle number has been produces from the left and right numbers in two example triplets, and then apply this reasoning to a test number.

Number Analogies make up one of the two question types in the Quantitative Reasoning Battery of CAT4 testing.

Number Relationships are common in the ISEB Pre-Test and paper-based Verbal Reasoning tests.
